The first look of the Kawasaki Ninja 500 has been revealed, and it will soon be launched in India with several updates. Here are the details.

Kawasaki is set to launch its new Ninja sports bike in India, as announced by the brand on social media. The Kawasaki Ninja 500 was showcased at the EICMA 2023 event and is part of the mid-weight range, replacing the Ninja 400 in the bike market.

★The expected price of the bike is around INR 5.4 lakh (ex-showroom).
★If launched in India, it will compete with the Aprilia RS 457, Yamaha R3, and KTM RC 390.

The Ninja 500 features telescopic forks in the front and a mono-shock at the rear, both with disc brakes. It also comes with TFT LCD instrument console, USB charging port, and Bluetooth connectivity, among other features. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS. Its design is inspired by the Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-10R, featuring new twin LED headlights and split seats.

The sports bike is powered by a 451cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. It has a stroke of 58.6mm and a bore of 70mm, which allows it to generate more torque. The bike is capable of generating 42.6Nm of torque at 6000 rpm and 45 bhp of power at 9000 rpm. It is also equipped with a slip and assist clutch and a 6-speed gearbox.

Kawasaki’s tweet suggests that the new Ninja bike will be a game-changer, designed to awaken the senses and ignite the spirit of riders. The exact launch date of the bike in India is yet to be announced.
