Revolutionary Electric Scooter Launches Without Battery: No Charging Required!

Bounce, an electric mobility startup, has launched its first electric scooter, Bounce One, a while ago. The special feature of this scooter is that it does not require a battery and comes with battery service. The price of this scooter is ₹45,099, but it can be booked for just ₹499. The company will deliver it by March next year. It will be sold both online and offline.

The CEO of the company, Vivekananda, stated that this will be the company’s first scooter of its kind. The company will provide battery swap service, eliminating the need for charging the battery. The company will set up a network where users can exchange their empty batteries for charged ones. It is expected to have 40% lower cost compared to petrol scooters.

If desired, the Infinity Bounce E1 can also be purchased with a battery. The battery can be charged separately according to the user’s convenience at home or office. The price of this scooter is ₹68,999, which includes the charger along with the battery. It comes with a removable battery with a capacity of 2 kWh, which can run up to 85 kilometers on a full charge.

It can be fully charged in about 4 to 5 hours and can be charged from any socket. The top speed of Bounce Infinity is 65 kilometers per hour and it can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just 8 seconds. The motor generates a powerful torque of 93 Nm. The scooter will come with two modes, Power and Eco. The company is offering a warranty of 3 years or 50,000 kilometers.

In other news, Honda is set to launch the Activa Ev scooter with a range of 250 kilometers, challenging OLA in terms of features.
