The CEO and founder of Ola Electric, Bhavish Aggarwal, stated that the company will expand its service centers by 50% and increase the Hypercharger network ninefold within the next quarter.

Currently, Ola Electric has around 400 service centers and 1,000 EV charging points across the country. By April, the company plans to open 200 more service centers, further expanding its network.

Furthermore, Ola Electric has announced plans to significantly expand its EV charging network in the coming days. The company has decided to create 10,000 charging points by the next quarter. Ola has already established the Ola Hypercharger network throughout India, which is the advanced version of the company’s fast charger. Additionally, the company has introduced portable fast chargers that can be installed at home or in offices. These portable fast chargers are available for purchase at a price of INR 30,000.

Customers can now purchase these EV fast chargers, which will provide 70-80% faster charging compared to the standard chargers that come with Ola scooters. Ola Electric is also offering an 8-year battery warranty along with the scooters. The scooters have a starting price of INR 4,999 and come with a warranty of up to 1 lakh kilometers or 1.25 lakh kilometers, depending on the model.

Overall, Ola Electric is making significant strides in the electric vehicle industry in India by expanding its product range, service network, and EV charging infrastructure.
