Mahindra XUV700 Dominates Indian Market with Strong Sales of 150,000 Units in Just 29 Months!

Undoubtedly, Mahindra’s latest XUV700 has become a sensation in the Indian market. The car has gained popularity among buyers due to its robust build and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features. The company claims that within just 29 months of its launch in India, 150,000 units of the XUV700 have been sold. The car was launched in the Indian market in August 2021.

Within 12 months of its launch, 50,000 units of the Mahindra XUV700 were sold, and within 21 months, the number reached 100,000 units. The sales figure for the previous month stood at 145,888, which is 4,112 units less than the previous month.

The Mahindra XUV700 is available in five and seven-seater options and a total of 30 variants in the Indian market. Additionally, this SUV car is available in multiple engine options. Its 2-liter turbocharged mStallion engine produces a maximum power of 200 hp and torque of 380 Nm. Furthermore, the 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine generates 155 hp of power and 360 Nm of torque. The car is available in six-speed manual and automatic transmission options.

In terms of features, the interior of the Mahindra XUV700 boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen with voice commands for Amazon Alexa virtual assistant. Other features include wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, auto booster headlights, leather upholstery, custom-made Sony 12-speaker setup with 3D surround sound, and electronic parking brake.

The Mahindra XUV700 is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including autonomous emergency brake, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. It also features seven airbags and ABS with EBD. The car has received a five-star safety rating from Global NCAP.

The current market price of the Mahindra XUV700 ranges from INR 14.01 lakh to INR 26.18 lakh (ex-showroom). In this price range, the car competes with Tata Harrier, Tata Safari, MG Hector, Hector Plus, Kia Carens, and Hyundai Alcazar.
