Recognizing the growing demand for compact SUVs, Hyundai is preparing to launch the new Kia Seltos with updated features and a lower price.
The Kia Seltos Facelift is expected to have a stylish and modern design, borrowing elements from the global-spec model. It will feature LED headlights, a tiger nose front grille, signature lighting, integrated vertical-shaped fog lamps with DRLs, and a revised front bumper. The rear profile will have new-style bumpers and revised LED tail lamps.
The launch of the Kia Seltos Facelift is expected to take place in the near future, possibly in the new year. It is worth mentioning that the facelift model of the Kia Seltos is already available for sale in the US and South Korean markets. However, some changes may be made to suit the Indian market.
The Kia Seltos Facelift is likely to come with a powerful 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 158bhp and a peak torque of 260Nm. The engine will be available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox option. In terms of mileage, it is expected to offer 17kmpl.
The car will also come equipped with various smart features, such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay-enabled 10.25-inch infotainment system, AC, rear AC vents, electronic parking brake, and an electric panoramic sunroof. It may also offer ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), blind-spot detection, and automatic emergency braking for safety.
The expected price range of the Kia Seltos Facelift in the Indian market is between Rs. 10.90 lakh and Rs. 19.89 lakh. The company is likely to launch the car soon.
