Swedish premium motorcycle manufacturer Husqvarna has launched a pair of powerful motorcycles in the Indian market. The company has announced the launch of Svartpilen 401 and the new generation Vitpilen 250. The prices for these bikes have been set at INR 2.92 lakhs and INR 2.19 lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively. Husqvarna has been selling its 250 models in the Indian market for a long time, but this is the first time the company has introduced the 401 series in India.

Both the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 250 have undergone changes in design, engine, chassis, and features. The company claims that special attention has been given to the design of the new generation bikes in terms of seat height, ground clearance, tank capacity, rider comfort, and cornering dynamics.

The Svartpilen 401 is an advanced scrambler bike. It is powered by a 399cc engine that produces an output of 45 horsepower. The engine is fitted inside a steel trellis chassis. It also features new aluminum swingarms, adjustable WP suspension, ByBre brakes, and Bosch dual-channel ABS. It is equipped with Easy Shift technology for clutchless gear shifting. Other key features include a 5-inch TFT display, new colors, and a 17-inch spoke wheel.

As for the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250, it is a urban roadster motorcycle. It comes with WP suspension, ByBre brakes, and dual-clutch Bosch ABS. The features include a 5-inch LCD display, new colors, handlebars, and 17-inch cast wheels. The Vitpilen 250 is powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 30.57 bhp of power at 9,500 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
