Hyundai i20 gets pricier by Rs 26,500! Will the trend reverse next year?

In recent days, car manufacturers have been announcing that their cars will become more expensive from the new year. However, Hyundai India has already made a move. Hyundai Motors has increased the price of its top-selling hatchback i20 by Rs 26,500.

The new prices have come into effect immediately. Along with the new prices, a new Era Manual variant has also been introduced in the i20 segment. It is often seen that when a new variant is added, the old one is discontinued, but that is not the case with the i20. In the Indian auto market, the price of this car starts at Rs 6.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.16 lakh with the top model. Let’s take a look at the car’s features, engine, and safety features.

★The Hyundai i20 has the ability to give a mileage of up to 20.0 kmpl. It runs on a petrol engine and has a displacement of 1197 cc. This engine is four-cylindered.
★It has the power to deliver 86.76bhp at 6000 RPM and torque of 114.7Nm at 4200 RPM.
★The five-seater i20 comes with automatic transmission, a boot space of 351 liters, and a fuel tank capacity of 37 liters.

Hyundai i20 is the most expensive car in the hatchback segment. In a lower price range, you can consider Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Tata Altroz.
