Tata Motors has introduced its new electric SUV, the Tata Punch EV, in India. This is the first electric car to be built on Tata Motors’ active architecture platform. Bookings for the car have already begun. Customers can book the Tata Punch EV with a down payment of just ₹21,000. The car can be booked both online and at Tata showrooms. One of the key features of the Punch EV is the option of a sunroof.

The Tata Punch EV comes with several impressive features, including smart digital DRLs, LED headlights, airbags, cruise control, front fog lamps, a 17.78 cm infotainment system by Harman with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, air purification, AQI display, auto-fold ORVM, a 17.78 cm digital cockpit, and a 26.03 cm HD infotainment system by Harman. The car also offers a 360-degree camera and surround view mirrors. Additionally, wireless smartphone charging is available in the Tata Punch EV.

In terms of charging, the Tata Punch EV can travel a distance of 300 to 600 kilometers on a full charge. The car supports AC charging at 7.2 kW to 11 kW for on-board charging and DC fast charging at 150 kW. The company claims that the Tata Punch EV can cover a distance of up to 100 kilometers in just 10 minutes of fast charging.

The price of the Tata Punch EV starts at around ₹10 lakh in India. The exact showroom price may range between ₹10 lakh and ₹13 lakh. Bookings for the car have already begun, and customers can book the car with a down payment of just ₹21,000. The EMI for the Tata Punch EV starts at ₹21,480 per month for a 60-month loan with an interest rate of 8.5%. The base model, Smart 3.3, is priced at ₹10,99,000 and requires an EMI of ₹22,284 per month for a 60-month loan at an interest rate of 9%.
