Alto price in Pakistan will shock! Will it become a luxurious house here at that price?

New Delhi: Pakistan’s economy is in dire straits and the country is seeking loans from various countries and international organizations to save its economy. The currency of Pakistan is also weaker compared to India. Amidst this, a video clip is going viral on social media claiming that the price of a Suzuki Alto in Pakistan is extremely high, which is hard to believe.

However, if one visits the Suzuki website in Pakistan, the claim is proven to be true. Suzuki sells Alto cars in Pakistan. Suzuki collaborates with Maruti in India for the manufacturing and sales of cars. In Pakistan, the base model of Alto is priced at 2.251 million Pakistani rupees. It should be noted that this is the price of the standard model and does not include any accessories.

The price of different variants of Alto in Pakistan is as follows: Alto VX is priced at 2.251 million rupees, Alto VXR is priced at 2.612 million rupees, Alto VXR-AGS is available at 2.799 million rupees, and the top-end variant Alto VXL-AGS is priced at 2.935 million rupees.

In comparison, the price of WagonR in Pakistan is as follows: WagonR VXR is priced at 3.214 million rupees, WagonR VXL is priced at 3.412 million rupees, and the top-end variant WagonR VXL-AGS is priced at 3.741 million rupees. These prices do not include any accessories.

In Delhi-NCR, one can buy a flat for the same price as that of an Alto in Pakistan. It is claimed that with the same amount of money, one can buy two new Scorpios or one Fortuner in India. However, one must also consider the exchange rate between Pakistani rupees and Indian rupees. The value of 2.2 million rupees in Pakistan will be slightly higher than 6.40 Indian rupees. This means that with that amount of money, one cannot buy a luxurious car in India. It only appears so due to the difference in currency value.
