TVS’s Ronin 225 will dance to Dominar’s tune, boasting a powerful engine and impressive features.

TVS is set to launch the Ronin 225, a cruiser motorcycle that will give tough competition to the Dominar. The Ronin 225 comes with a powerful engine and impressive features that make it stand out in the market. The top variant of the bike features round LED headlights, a brown seat, and 17-inch alloy wheels, giving it a retro look. The bike has a compact design and weighs only 160 kilograms. The seat height is 795mm and the wheelbase is 1,397mm.

The Ronin 225 is powered by a new 225cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine developed by TVS. The engine generates 20 horsepower and a peak torque of 19.9Nm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike has a light clutch and smooth gear shifts. While the pickup is not as fast as the Apache RTR 200 4V, the Ronin can easily reach a speed of 80-90 kilometers per hour. It offers a mileage of around 40 kilometers per liter.

The Ronin 225 comes with impressive features such as single and dual-channel ABS options. The braking is good and can be adjusted to rain and urban modes. The front features 41mm upside-down forks, while the rear is handled by an adjustable monoshock. The overall ride quality is good, especially on highways. However, caution must be exercised while riding on modes as the rear suspension is softer.

It is worth noting that TVS did not have any cruiser or scrambler motorcycles in the market until now. The Ronin 225 is a lightweight cruiser that will give tough competition to the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Bajaj Pulsar 250, and Dominar 250 in terms of price and features.
